Pune Scrabble Championship Just Around the Corner

The next major scrabble tournament in the Indian circuit is Pune. Here are the details from the Scrabble Association of India:

When : 25th (Saturday) and  26th (Sunday) July 2015

Location : Poona Club Ltd, 5 Bund Garden Road

Registration Time: Between 9 am and 9.30 am

Total No. of Games : 15 (7 on the first day and 8 on the second day)

Entry Fee : Rs.1300/- per person for SAI members & Rs. 1400/- for non SAI members. (This will cover Breakfast, Morning and Afternoon Tea with biscuits and Lunch)

CSW 15 goes official on September 1, 2015

CSW 15 will be the official Collin's dictionary come September 1, 2015. Here are the words of
WESPA secretary Cheah Siu Hean regarding this:

"As the Zyzzyva word study and word judge application has been updated for "CSW15" and is now available for download from the Collins dictionary website, WESPA advises that it will proceed as intended with the adoption of CSW15 as the official tournament word list for WESPA-rated tournaments on 1 September 2015, superseding CSW12. The WESPA ratings committee will consider applications to WESPA-rate CSW15 tournaments held before 1 September 2015 in the event countries have set earlier adoption dates".

Nigel lifts the Kings Cup for the Eleventh Time

Nigel Richards has won the King's cup in Thailand becoming a  Eleven Time champion at the Event. He edged out Hubert Wee in a close finish. The entire standings are available from the original coverage at  poslfit.com:
